Leg Pump Crossover Drill

The group class focuses on crossovers and reiterates the lean of the body and then holding the crossover position. The coach does a fantastic job of keeping the kids engaged by constantly asking questions and calling them by name.

Starting with a drill using an outside leg pump around a group of tires, skaters need to push until their leg is straight, keeping both feet always on the ice. This drills evolves to three pushes with a crossover after.

At the very end, a skater with nice crossovers is highlighted so the rest can see.
