Using the bar again, he’s going to lay on his back with his toes on the bar and body lifted off the ground. He needs to squeeze the glutes, keep breathing and engage hamstrings, back, triceps and calves.
Toes need to be pointed in order to curl around the bar. This exercise will strengthen the posterior chain of the body, thereby aiding the athlete to produce more power in their activity.
Eventually, the goal will be for him to hold this pose for 45 seconds.
